Re: Fairway % Stats not working correctly?

  I initially brought up this issue of Driving Accuracy ERRORS to Ed and asked him if he could help somehow in resolving this problem.

  I have had *5* games where my Driving Accuracy Stat, that is the  %,  has been in ERROR for the last week or week in a half, at least it has been for me and now Ed has also had the same problem.  The stat for the number of "Fairways Hit" has always been CORRECT, but the stat for the  %  of Driving Accuracy has been INCORRECT.

  These are examples of  **5**  of those  games:

  1.--Missed 1 F/W--I do not remember the  %  because it was the first time it had happened, but I know for sure that I missed only 1 F/W, but % stat was wrong.  2 Par 3's played.

  2.--Missed 1 F/W--Driving Accuracy Stat =50%                    1 Par 3 was played.

  3.--Missed 1 F/W--Driving Accuracy Stat =43%                    2 Par 3's were played.

  4.--Missed  **NO F/W's**--Driving Accuracy Stat =63%        1 Par 3 was played.

  5.--Missed  **NO F/W's**--Driving Accuracy Stat =63%        1 Par 3 was played.

  So you can see that these are BIG INCORRECT ERRORS in the Driving Accuracy Stats.  ALL OTHER stats within the STAT BOX for the above mentioned games are CORRECT.  All  **5** of these games were played on Royal St George's and St Andrews courses.  I also used 2 different browsers, Firefox and I E, with the same results.

  I used a DRIVER ON ALL OF THESE HOLES,  NO 3W was used.

  If anyone else has experienced any of these same ERRORS can you please reply.  Out of the  **5**  games that I played I sent in  **4**  **BUG REPORTS**  to the WGT, and as usual  NO CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE.  Maybe Courtney, you being a C C owner and pulling more weight than us members, can contact the WGT and ask them to help us in resolving this problem.  As we all know the more things that go wrong within the game in time more things will also go wrong and the next thing, maybe, the other stats within the Stat Box will also be in ERROR.  Whether you check your stats or not after you have played a game is up to each member, but the PRINCIPLE THING with all of this is that we should not have any problems within playing the game, but if we do the PROBLEMS SHOULD BE RESOLVED,  FIXED,  and  CORRECTED.

  In ending a member can LOSE A LOT of Percentage  %  Points in their Driving Accuracy over a period of time if this is not corrected.  Add up the  %  POINTS that I lost in those **5**  games,  ***37***  POINTS in just  **1**  GAME**  in which I had NO MISSED  F/W's.         CHECK  YOUR  STATS  IN  YOUR  STAT BOX.

  Quite a few stats are faulty, and all of them suffer meaninglessness because they count from day one.

  Concerning this fault, we've been alerted that it has been here 2010 already, and I remember min. 3 discussions about it with no results.

  The "no Driver" idea was new to me - unfortunately I had to call it into question, at least for 3 hole practice rounds. Still, fmagnet's observation stands, "random occurrence".

  If you want, you may investigate further by playing ranked rounds and checking the stats after each hole. Then your might (or might not) get a clue to this flaw. But what for? A meaningless stats might become more exact - so what?

  Furthermore, it's fruitless IMHO to expect any change, regardless who would speak up to the company.

  They are WGT, hope is futile!
