I looked for another thread to add this to but could not find one so started this one.

    From a just completed round.

Scorecard shows 8 of 8 Fairways hit (and I did).

Stats say 75%?? (That would be 6 of 8 fairways hit which is clearly in error).

Any idea about what is up here WGT?

Did you tee off on any of them with less than a driver? The problem was reported all the way back in 2010 and WGT never did anything to correct it. If you hit the fairway with less than a driver, the display shows fairway hit but for calculation purposes it calculates as a fairway missed.

This is not the only bug. I hit every fairway and green on the back 9 at Congo the other day and it showed something like 3 fairways (all drivers) and 2 greens missed. So as well as the above bug, successful shots are sometimes simply not registered.

    Nope.

Off the Legend tees on the front 9 of St Andrews there is no reason known reason to use less than a driver - well at least as far as I know.

On edit I did drive the green on #9 due to a favorable tailwind but then it is still 7 of 8 or 87.5%

WOW - this must be one of the oldest bugs out here!

Edit: Negative result in a 3 hole practice at STA: Hitting the drives with 3WD and FW hits (*), driving accuracy is 100 % while (as expected) driving average is 0.

(*) difficult at #17 from the tips

Stats stopped being meaningful in anyway as soon as the Par 3's & 5's were bundled into the mix.

I never really cared about stats since before the mulligans in practice mode, if I wanted to practice I did it in ranked rounds playing solo just in case I'd hit a HIO so it would count in stats.

Many times I'd finish a ranked round not thinking about it( just practicing) and my stats would be based on those rounds too.   Plus countless ranked rounds with friends while we were all playing drinking games and shooting all over the place for fun.  So yea,  my stats are all crap mostly.  Only really care about longest drive/ longest putt and number of HIO's.

Double eagles too, but don't have any yet so eff it.  ;-)

Maybe if we had stats per year then I could find a reason to care about them.

not sure why even then LOL .  Boredom I guess.  Nothing left to play for here advancement wise.  Just play for the fun of it, never for the credits.   More I think of it,  I'd never care about the stats lol.

    Carry on.  :)
