Follow this logic, most games that you play on the internet or on the download start you off with a simple version, so that you can get better, faster, and then they sell you the more difficult versions for a lot of bucks. So the progression is easy to hard. Wgt gives you the hard game first, and then sells you the easier version through the purchase of equipment, balls, and putters. The higher degree of equipment, the easier the game becomes. THIS IS NOT ABOUT BUYING CREDITS, this is why should I buy the easy version, when I get the hard version for free. You know, why buy the cow, when the milk is free kinda thing. Now the simple answer is to why you would buy the easier version is that buying the easier version allows you to become a master or a legend, and most men, with the large egos want to be called master or legend. Now that I have offended the masters and the legends with the truth, they will get angry, BUT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING CHEAP, I prefer to play the hard game, not the easy game, and the name legend means nothing to me, because they have a million of those roaming the halls now.
