If you play the 2nd hole at Kiawah this bug shows up as well.
I think it is 543 or something like that from the Legend tees, but a number like 501 shows up after the first legend hits which I think is the distance from tee to hole on a direct line.
The yardage displayed when you hover the cursor over the player dot on the tee on the mini-map is the actual distance from the tee.
The number in the upper right corner, as mentioned, is the yardage printed on the score card, not the actual distance to the hole. That's why it changes once the ball is hit.
