I e-mailed CS about it telling them that as a recovering alcaholic I found it highly offensive,

Really Joe?  You've posted many times you work at Walmart

    borntobesting:
I was lucky in that with my Wal-Mart employee discount i got mine for just over $70.

How do you handle walking through (or working in) their beer & wine aisle(s)?

Sorry Andy about deleting my original post, here's the colouring text video if you want to watch it again. CLICK.

...but Paul did suggest making an empty link to make the text go green, and that's a good way, but if you can bear going into the HTML editor to do it then it's a very simple method.

Just surround the text you want green, with anchor tags, gobbledy gơok, yes I know, but look, it's easy.

    <a>This text will be green</a>

Yes, that text isn't green I know, but that's how it should look in the HTML editor, when you come out of the editor and post it, it'll be green.

Yup, that's what I wanted to use / figure out....on u tube research they kept going on about HTML...I thought, " we ain't friggin got that "

Turns out we have !! ;-o

    EDIT: Black Max

Nope ^^^ Scott, didn't work, once you zoomed out again you didn't show what to be clicked....all I can see is you clicking edit twice..

Also it is not clear if you have to post the words 1st or not and then change colour.

    MIERDE !! there's fookin 10 mins I won't get back.

You don't have to post the message first, if you have some text in the message box then it will show up in the HTML editor when you click the HTML icon.

Once you have typed in the code to change the text colour, click update at the bottom the of HTML editor window and then the colour should show up in the message editor before you post it, if it does not, then you have made an error in the code somewhere.

EDIT : Just checked your post above and you've done it correctly Andy, but don't make the colour black, that is the default colour and you won't notice any difference, change the colour you put in the code to something else and it will show up.

    Woohoo!

    No.

But it is best if you type out your post in the normal way first, and then go into the HTML editor and add the colour, because then you can select which bits you want to be what colour.
