  I e-mailed CS about it telling them that as a recovering alcaholic I found it highly offensive, They said that they could not change their sponsor's background so I guess we are stuck with it until The Open is over.hopefully not until the end of July. This isn't the first time they put an ad on the game client who can forget the Kingsford charcoal ad from a summer or 2 ago.

  I've asked soooooooo many times about this.

  Over a year ago they were "looking to add more flag options to the game. We are discussing which ones and how quick we can do it"

  The open is at St Andrews in a few days, which is in Scotland, which incidentally has it's own flag! It was at Hoylake last year, in England, which surprise, surprise, also has it's own flag, won by Rory  McIlroy who is Northern Irish and amazingly.....they have their own flag.

  I presume the gnomes, dogs, shamrocks, love hearts etc must have been asked for by the thousands who email WGT in private. Maybe I should see if I can start an email WGT campaign to get these flags added to the game, pfffffft, not really, they would be ignored in favour of the (supposed) emails asking about CC clashes, novelty markers and all the other 'useful' things the silent thousands ask for.

  Edit: Sorry for hijacking the original thread, but it's been annoying me for about 3 years........so far.

  With it being white at the bottom and the lettering being white..it's hard to read till you hover over it....could be confusing for new members to navigate.

  That explains why you can never find the fookin GREEN then Stu  ;-)))

  ^^ that would've worked alot bettter if the word green was in the colour green ^^

  Do you e-mail the tv companies showing alcohol ads? Tear down billboards, bus stops and benches? Do you open bar doors you walk past and tell then they're offending you?

  No-one but the individual is responsible for their own recovery.

  This whole thread is ridiculous, complaining about an ad in a free game!

  Set up a game, 3 minutes later, the ad is gone, how difficult is that?
