    Respect. He was the best. He retired. I liked Jason Tibbets. He was the first, and is still, the only player I have ever invited...just in case he ever comes back. No other reason. He has been pending since I opened the club.  ~ SP ~

    That's kinda sweet, a nice tribute.

    Is the story on his wall true...did he get so involved playing WGT, he lost everything.

    Find that hard to believe.

    That is the story. Lost his job, wife, kids...maybe his mind, I think he got heavy with drink...he was as addicted to the game as one can get...round the clock play. His stats are beyond anything imaginable, while doing all of it with balls and clubs far less sophisticated than anything we have now. But, that is the story as I understand it...I pray it is bogus  ;-}

    Here is my 2 cents worth.

    As a CC owner I have never asked any member of our CC to buy the CC passes and it is never a condition.  If they buy them off their own back that is their choice.  I just think it is a waste of credits.  I use the free one when it is available - sometimes it is 1,000 and other times it is only 250 or less.

    No, owners get nothing for this, but the CC gets the putter pal (never use it myself) and maybe some super passes.

    All CC owners get to do is run a CC and sometimes it is hard getting people to play comps and to join a CC and with the many glitches going on, people tend to stay away.  I would prefer they get rid of it altogether and concentrate on fixing this game.

    So I wonder, what are the owners getting back from WGT that club members don't know about? Please enlighten me so I'll understand because I don't see the big deal on these points

    As a owner of an all New Zealand club, I get nothing except great people as members & the joy of playing with them.

    I dont have any rules as such but I do ask all members if they would use their free daily passes.

    I do ask all members if they can welcome all new members into our club and invite all members as friends .

    I do ask all members to play club tournaments

    I do run a monthly comp where I give free balls to the member that invites another member to a match. The member with the most games played for that mth gets balls of their choice.

    What do I get in return Nothing but great friends
