    Here's the scoop...

My 15 year old son had started an account about 6 months ago. He played for awhile on and off for a few months. He became a decent player, not great, maybe a scoring average just under 70. He might have had a couple of rounds in the low 60's. (This is after a few months of playing and with my guidance for shot /club selection, reading putts, etc.).

About a month ago he tries to log on and his account has been disabled.

So, i've been trying to straighten this out with WGT for awhile. A little frustrating, to say the least, it usually takes two days (and repeated emails) for a response to a simple question.

First reply from WGT: Our records indicate that you have created multiple WGT accounts..

I reply that it's not, it's my sons account and we share the same computer, can you have 2 players using the same computer? (He does not have his own computer or smart phone, he shares with the family. This is the computer that I normally use to play.)

WGT reply: "You can have multiple players on one computer. If they seem to be the same person then they are closed."

I reply again: it's not, it's my sons account....

WGT reply: Can you please provide a lagal photo ID for each player? (note typo)

    I reply: Of course not he's 15.

    I haven't gotten a response since.

You won't get it discussed here by WGT of course.

You play RGs..Assume your son never entered anything credit based.  Tough one as multi accounts are such an issue here.    Surely your son has a passport or something similar.

Sounds like WGT are trying to work with you - I would carry on with CS not the main forums.

Almost all schools require some sort of picture ID even if it's only the required school insurance.   Also every state has non driver photo ID's for people who need photo ID's and don't drive. And at 15 he could get a driving permit so why can't he get one??

If they dont have a photo ID they do have a birth certificate and a social security card which they can use to verify their account . Your account shows that its 5 years old , so you have been here long enough to know how things are done .

At the same time since they have only been playing for a few months then they havent advanced that far nor lost that much . So go and start another account like the rest of the multis do .

Of course you do or should know that WGT is not going to discuss another players account with third parties or openly in the forums .

    Hi

I understand your frustration but this is not the place to discuss this.
