    twinponds169:

TM with an avg under 63, sinks a 255 foot putt for presumably an eagle on Andy 5, then holes Andy 11, and his only score that day is a full Andy 18 for a 122. What am I not getting here? lol

I noticed this too, but I assume it was with starters? I played a few rounds ages ago with EZ swing  - entire set (from the tips) and was circa 120 for 18.

Nothing else to indicate otherwise....but I could be wrong.

Actually there is something to indicate otherwise. Just watch the 2 replays and you will he he was using the Max Meter iron set and the Ghost Spider putter. It looked like the starter ball but not starter clubs. And as he has some 300 rounds total he could be under the needed 50 rounds as a TM to be saturated and getting close to legend. A round of 122 would raise his average significantly. Very possibly a sand bagging round and got UNLUCKY twice.

Why not have a closer look to the score history before posting an untenable accusation?

He's well saturated and this 122 may be anything from a round of fun and testing to a difficult trial with custom clubs and Starter ball (meter speed). Perhaps he only finished it because of this supposed longest putt?!?

    And:

Is it our business to challenge a fellow player who only posted a valid question?

Agreed on the clubs Joe.......late here, still at work and not very observant on my behalf!

But it looks like the OP has over 50 RR (I did not count to see what rounds were par threes  and fives) as a TM, so would be saturated, so it would not raise the average.

What did notice his stats are not bad and is a little surprising he is still a TM, but mainly plays alt games. He will get a shock when he makes legend though if his average scores are anything to go by.

If I can shoot less than 122 with EZ swing from the tips, and he shoots this with decent clubs and from easier tees......something does smell, and it isn't the seaside, especially on a day he makes a HIO.

Very nice putt. My longest ever putt happened at that same hole. From 128 feet it took a line similar the one yours did. I'll probably always keep that replay.

You are right on alosso. I was trying to up my longest putt (which I have made longer ones than 57 but was playing alt shot and didn't count) so I would place the ball as far away as possible to achieve this. Also, I thought that shooting such a score would raise my average because I am not ready for legend. I dont have the club length for that yet as I only use starter balls and dont have a high enough level to get the final set of max meter clubs. But then I asked right after this round and found out you can't raise your average after so many rounds but you can only lower it for some reason. In an actual tournament, I never get that far away from the hole so I finally had a round of fun to try to up it and thought I did on my first round. My next round of fun to up my longest putt, I will make sure I am actually on the green, lol. I guess I can't play tournaments for real until I get the better clubs because about every time I play, my average goes down. Thanks for the information all.

Well, that explained it for my curiosity. Never meant any sort of insinuation, the putt was just tremendous, as was the HIO with a starter ball. I just could not make sense of the score. Thanks for explaining.

    Merry Christmas
