Hmmm so that's why you revert to starter balls if we play.......

Personally, I have noticed no difference in hits per ball, so if this is happening it must be a bug in the system.

So the last 4 balls in my monotonous count in Excel lasted...

61-67-71-84 strokes.... That being a BRAND NEW Ball each time and all taken out of play for the usual wear...

I have had problems with this ball taking since the last update but This time, Instead of 1 witness I had 2 lol

Believe it or not one of the other people I was playing Had Exactly the Same issue, 60ish hits per ball...!!

Each time a NEW ball was brought into play after 1st shot it showed up as around 70% life on meter...

60ish strokes later it was taken...!

Apologies in advance for any none believers, I speak the truth folks and only the

    truth!!

I have no reason to doubt your words, but that would make either you or me an exception (either unlucky or a lucky one). Because both balls I use (L90 Nike blacks and L61 Nikes, when I'm up against someone, who really has no chance of winning), have always had exactly 120 strokes in them and they still do.

    and also Scott Hope,,

Guys like I say I am not here to complain or make enemies, I love the company and fun this game brings, I have met some Fantastic people on here, Paul Ton included (keep that quiet lol) but I have nothing to gain from telling porkies, I never will... Period..

Back to Nike level 61`s,... As boring as it is ans WAS I again counted strokes with NEW balls only, 2 more out of play today and 74 and 86 strokes, Greens excluded....

I can`t afford the balls at this rate, WGT please , Please look into this.... I know your reply last time was, `Nothing has changed` But it has for me, It has become more and More expensive to play Daily..

Look at my ball purchases, Look at my games and I speak the truth.. Only the truth!

    Rant over folks lol

    Carry on regardless.. lol

Soz Paul..I wear it when I'm playing...it gives me an air of sophistication not available with a mere ball cap..:)

Very nice tin foil hat, Paul.  Sorta reminds me of Jiffy Pop popcorn when it's done on the stove.  Or is that what it is?

FWIW to anyone who cares-----I just tested a Callaway Hex Chrome+ Ball (Slow Meter) (L34+) ball and it lasted for exactly 120 Hits

I thought it would be shorter but it indeed lasted that long !

I assume that was excluding putts from on the green?

    Good to know -- thx.

One thought was that putts actually count, and those not counting putts were getting a lower total and complaining. while those counting the putts were confirming the 120.

So verified that putts don't count, and at least some people are getting a reliable 120 which matches the expectation for that ball.

I don't know what gives with players getting much fewer strokes per ball. Maybe they are simply missing something in their counts. Maybe they are playing mulligans in practice rounds and not counting double durability hit.

I am normally meticulous with record-keeping, but even I must admit to being bored with counting ball strokes over about 5 rounds (of 9). So easy to miss marking down a round.

Maybe there is a logical explanation where those claiming to get less hits are not counting it right???  It seems so unlikely that some players are getting the right durability (or is it some balls are getting the right durability?) and others are not.

I'd love to know if anyone works this one out.

Maybe somebody who is counting it at 120 strokes, can play the same balls as somebody who is claiming to get much fewer?  If 2 different players count strokes, and one gets 120 while the other gets <80 --- then it comes down to confirming the count some how.

    Puzzled!!!
