Having been a patron for the PGA stop in Hilton Head, if this course is coming to WGT as a stroke play course better hang on to your Ping drivers. This place is VERY tight all the way around. Just thinking about the slightest meter bobble has my precious Callaways shaking in my golf bag!!!!! Btw the marina there has some nice dingys docked there. JB

I live only a short drive from Sea Pines, home of Harbour Town or Harbour Trees as many of the amateurs refer to it.  The CTTH doesn't do the course much justice and I fear neither will the stroke play.  Harbour Town can only be stretched to about 6,900 yards as far back as you can get the par 71 layout and while it is a challenge on the PGA tour, with the 285 yard straight bombs that you can hit it on WGT, you will end up hitting wedges into most of the small greens so I see it as the weakest of all the courses that we have on here.

That shows on the CTTH leaderboards. With a potential best of 122 on the first day of its inception only, I really think it's going to be an easy one for me. The Diamond Accuracy Award is gonna be on the shelf of many players here in the next few days!

Not many obstacles (like Bali Hai for example) maybe except for #7. Many can be impressed by the #5 with all the water (similar to the 17th at Kia). That water is a bit like a that chihuahua barking loudly:  making enough noise to break your concentration but not doing that much harm if you ignore!!

Hit it straight and there's plenty of space to land it...

I was actually talking about it being the weakess stroke play course, the CTTH course isn't that easy, I have yet to break 90 on it and my best score in Blitz on HT is 125k.  My issues about HT is the length, it just isn't as long as Kiawah or St Andrews from the back tees and can't be stretched out.  The defense in stroke play is small greens and very tight fairways, in WGT everyone hits it fairly straight so the course is left fairly defenseless.
