First of all, Paul, there is nothing that has been said here in this thread that is BS.  Everything written is 100% true.

Second, who says we are broadcasting content here that should be only "meant for our CC forum"?  There are many seeking a CC that might be interested to know about our highly unusual membership turnouts in our CC tournaments and our exhorbitant giveaways...and that is exactly what has been posted here.  The only one guilty of broadcasting inappropriate content on our Country Club Corner thread is you, Paul.  Read the WGT guidelines.  As an owner of your own CC, you have absolutely zero business being on our thread - so stay off of it.

Third, as was the case before when you posted your nonsense on our thread, you are only making yourself look very foolish.

Finally, if you come after one of us, you come after all of us.  And you will lose that battle big time.  Just stay away from us.

"There are many seeking a CC that might be interested to know about our highly unusual membership turnouts in our CC tournaments..."

Dave; I am not a CC owner, but I play one on TV.:)

    1. I agree with everything you have posted, but wanted to point out that you have a high turnout by culling those who don't participate. So the statement, while true, is a bit misleading.

    2. I am not aware in the T&Cs where Paul cannot comment. You folks have been engaging him in several posts, and are now tiring of his POV.

    3. I agree with Paul that a CC who boots members for not fully participating in CC events isn't for everyone. You obviously run your CC in a way that suits you...much like the Georgian does with its' emphasis on the Clashes. That kind of pressure can be a deterrent to some...irrespective of lucrative prize money.

Regardless, the best luck to you all.:)

    Hey CT,

Read Paul's recent posts.  His big beef was that our big giveaways and CC purses isn't for everyone....which like many of his past posts was so totally absurd.  That is what provoked my response and Dave's follow up response.

I do get that many who join a CC don't want to participate in the CC.  And in that case, Guys and Dolls is not for them.  We don't require everyone to play in EVERY CC tournament, but a vast majority do.  And if someone disappears from our CC (and WGT) for a long period of time, their membership is deleted with the understanding that they can return should they desire to get involved again.  Why add to the membership numbers when people aren't active members?  It seems that most CC's do that, but this has never been our model

What we really don't want is empty membership.  We get requests to join our CC all the time from people that are obviously not a fit (i.e. they have zero or close to that in ranked rounds....or they are still beginners and we know from experience that they won't end up participating because they can't come close to competing even with our lowest average Legend players).

Finally, one of the biggest advantages to a small CC like ours is that everyone knows (and embraces) everyone.  We are like a close family of sorts.

I fully agree with this approach, Rachel...and I think it's definitely the way to go.

This was the quote I addressed...from Tamara.

" Many who choose not to participate regularly have their memberships deleted.."

I misunderstood, but you clarified the intent.

Regardless...none of my business, or anyone elses. You folks are clearly tight knit... handing the ball off to each other, etc. Very unique advert..:)

    "I am done."

Oh, we ALL hope that is true, Paul!  Your posts on this thread are ridiculous!
