    PaulTon:
Kiawah was the first strokeplay course and the graphics have always been HD photographs.

He goes back to 2008. IIRC, when I first came across this game (way before I joined) it was a really primitive CTTH. I don't recall the graphic quality but I do remember thinking it was lame compared to what I knew at the time--Links.

Needless to say, the old Virginia Slims tag line comes to mind--"You've come a long way, Baby."  LOL  ;-)

Got to tour master a few days ago and my my putting sucks on very fast greens. Having a hard time making many putts from close up 3-8 feet. Worse from further away. I was competing in ready goes and brackets but not so much any more. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it on a particular green speed? Bracket green speeds are random so tiering up shouldn't have any effect on speeds you'll face. If you're not a mobile player a good way to learn faster speeds would be to play alt shots/Match play. You can get in game advice if needed more often than not.

An alternate theory for missing greater no of short putts could be you not having the "guest favour" anymore. After a certain period the lips of holes become much sharper and you'd lip out putts which used to be gobbled up by the hole.

I was not aware that the hole could change? I thought everything was above board here?

This theory comes from the same people who brought you the flat Earth theory and the one that says the Queen of England is a shape shifting extra-terrestial lizard.

Paul you just burst his bubble.  He had a way to explain his misses up until now.

I'm just curious:  Are tin foil hats custom made, or is it one size fits all?  Then again you probably have to be a card carrying conspiracy member to have that info.  Like the CIA, they could tell us, but then they have to kill us.

Glad to hear it's all legit. I used to play a pool game but out that was rigged.

    SidersBest:

So that you don't waste useful hits on paid for balls. Set your mode to practice and hit the 'Rock'  set your practice round to the green speed you need. Use the 'Putt Preview'. align, adjust your %, watch where it rolls. Let your meter run through without swinging re-adjust your read and ding the putt. I hope you track what your doing. Never waste good balls on putting practice but you need to practice!  practice!  and practice!

Well done Sider, you have revealed the secret of WGT to everyone, now they can all have the ability to play well - So it turns out that the secret to playing WGT well is the same secret to learning to play piano well - PRACTICE

Even Aristotle in ancient Greece knew this which is why he wrote

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.”
