is there anyway to move Left or Right in the Tee box.

as there are times I would like to go right or left to give me a better angle at the fairway...

maybe view was a bad choice of words I was thinking more of moving to right or left side to miss trees or something like that.

    thanks..

    No.

Just like in the real game.

It won't happen here though it  would require re-programming (or adding new code to) every hole in the game, it might even entail going back and re-photograping the tees.

Imagine the glitches after that update!

It would also make the game easier and no-one wants that.

The only alternative is to bend it like Beckham. A skillset all of it's own.

A couple or years ago in a live chat MisterWGT said it wasn't possible because the tees weren't really that big.

Or order the much wanted cat ball for extra meow and whisker turn from the tee, lol.

In real life you have a range of locations where can tee up between and behind the tee markers, which conceivably could give you some strategic advantage. Not here.

But this pales in comparison to the inability to choose your drop and apply the drop rules of RL golf. How many times in this game I have been dropped in deep rough, or sand, or whatever, when I would have taken a different drop in RL or rehit from the previous location.

It might not be possible because they only pictured and GPSsed one spot on each tee.

But, it would not have much effect:

From a tee area of 5 yds width, the angle of a shot to a point in 200 yds distance varies by measly 1.4 degrees, for 100 yds distance it's 2.8 degree difference between left and right. Now you tell me what difference that may make concerning the outcome of a shot and if this justifies the effort to program it.

These numbers show that in the real game, the choice of left or right only has an influence on the most important 5 inches in the game, the space between your ears (according to Bobby Jones).
