YankeeJim: Epic fail on WGT's part.
I wouldn't be so sure Jim...
Anyone here really think that WGT are gonna be so 'on the ball', that they will marry up a 5 day old account with one that hasn't been touched for nearly 7 years..within 3 working days ?? ;-)))
Has to be another reason....
If the OP gives us the username and directions to it..ie: CC joined / friends on list / WGT comps played etc..
Then things may become clearer ?
I agree with all of that.
As wgt didn't link the accounts by e-mail address more than one player from the same ISP could be a possibility but I'd think that would mean more than one was active at the time.
I thought there was a rule on this, multi's only keep the original account all subsequent one's are disabled. Seems to be what has happened here.
I'm not sure about never having played on it, I know what the stat's say but how does a round of 74 give an average of 134.80? The most obvious way I can see is with four maxed out rounds to go with it.
Mind you I do think they disabled the wrong one as a case like this seems to give the player an advantage over honest players, keep the account that's at hack when you've previously been at a higher tier. Maybe always disabling the account that's at the lower tier would be better.
I don't really see the need to question the CC he happens to be a member of, which seems to be the way the thread's heading, he probably got a short list to choose from when he signed in with this player.
"at least 16 names there with no stats or score history" they (19 I think) are mostly mobile users (as alosso suggests) all have played (none are at L1), and many are currently active. The rental thing may be related to mobile users too (for example maybe they're given some of these coins to spend) or just an indication of how many multi's are (re)joining in general.
