Its wrong that WGT publicly shames you with the orange and yellow disc remove them and replace them with your CDP which mine is 1346 which is more positive out look for every one.

I agree with Srellim, CDP is meaningless when determining whether or not a player will finish a game. If a player has a CDP of 500, how do you know they haven't quit games for the last 500 days?

I don't think that quitting a RR you're playing by yourself would affect your "green, yellow, orange" status, but I don't know, maybe someone else could answer that.

I believe the system WGT has in place right now works pretty well. On the odd occasion that I invite players, that I don't know, to a multi-player game...I definitely take their status into consideration before I hit play. I think building up a good friends list or joining a country club are the best ways to avoid having to even deal with this issue. I know the friends on my list would never quit on me and they know I'd never quit on them.

As far as the shaming goes...if a player has a yellow or orange status, that's not WGT publicly shaming them, that's just the player publicly shaming themselves. It's simple...don't willingly quit multi-player games and your green status will be maintained.

Wayne, you are certainly correct that quitting will impact the colour scheme. I am wondering if technical disconnects also impact them?  I have played thousands of multi-player games, and draw players mainly from my FL. These are honorable folks who don't quit. They do, however, fall victim to a bad internet connections, or inclement weather, or some other technical glitch. This seems to be exacerbated when a Clash event is ongoing, but this is strictly an anecdotally based observation.

Regardless, I have friends with a yellow flag and who don't quit games. Further, once downgraded, it seems to take a long time to recover their green status.

I'm not certain if numbers have been allotted to the colour schemes; i.e., not finish ten games and a player is then assigned a yellow flag?

    pase4win:

I  pay good money to play this game and if I feel my play is not acceptable to better my average I will quit a ranked stroke game. As a legend I worked very hard to become Tour Legend from a 64 avg to 60 avg moving only .01 per ranked rounds when shooting -5.

I don't quit alt shot or skins games but when you become a tour legend you have to shoot 29's just to move your average. Its wrong that WGT publicly shames you with the orange and yellow disc remove them and replace them with your CDP which mine is 1346 which is more positive out look for every one. Its time WGT revamp the way your average is calculated and STOP insulting your paying customers.

No offense, but if you were any further off base you could be picked off by the right fielder.

Why worry about protecting your precious average when saturation has your back?

As a Legend, I'm following the same path you did, but I never quit a game because "it won't help my average." I did forfeit one last week because it was running way long and I would have been late to work. And I felt bad about that one.

With your attitude, you've earned the markers. And what the hell is wrong with the way WGT calculates your average?

The only person insulting you is yourownself. And you're doing a damned fine job of it.

I know that he hasn't, because the new rules have been in effect for only 200 days approx... :p

But, from that time on, I gained many CDP boni by quitting a (solo) game after one shot. Thus, CDP doesn't mean a thing in this context. Furthermore, IMHO, CDP should not be involved in MP....

True: Completion % is only checked on MP games excluding A/S.

I beg to differ: If someone happens to play with a lot of quitters, his %% will suffer, too. Same if there are too many system discons outside his responsibility. The unlucky ones are lumped together with the bad boys here.

To the OP: Quitting and foul language are a social phenomenon, barely controllable by officers. To me, it expresses insecurity and a fear of inferiority of the culprits. My approach concerning these poor life forms is quick and simple:

    Block and forget!

My two Pfennig: There are a lot of nice&fair people out there, seek them, make friends, perhaps join a CC to play with your mates in a more healthy social environment.
