    YankeeJim:
    p.s., it's "amok",  not "a muck."  That's poker.

    That's so funny!

Contrary to the singular opinion that started this thread the Pot and the Kettle are both black.  That being said, hypocrisy will only garner you more unwanted/unsolicited comments from long time members.

You were given some good advice.  But, since you went off on a tangent about "being abused" you missed it.  Bottom-line, if you want help or advise there are thread strings for just that.  Realistically speaking what did you expect when you started a journal in a thread?

The one member you've chose to single out is a highly respected member of this community.  Your conduct despite the friendly banter has been out of line and suffice it to say redolent of the playground bully... the new kid trying to assert himself as the BIG man on the swing set.  You struck first when you read the responses, and when responses were posted that you didn't like you lashed out even more.  Yet, you're questioning the maturity of certain members?

Give it a rest.  Take it for what you will but you're fighting a losing battle.  Get yourself a sense of humor.  Life is much more enjoyable when you can laugh... especially at yourself.

BTW... it's WGT and not WTG.  Even if you did recommend it to your friends they'd never find it with reliable information like that!

But why would anyone bait Jim, of all people?

None of the members imposes anything on any other members in the forums. It's a forum, you're free to stick your neck out, and occasionally get it chopped off.

Jim is about as fair-minded a person as you're going to find in an online environment. Not to say he can't have his own opinions. He no doubt has hackles, which he is free to raise like anyone. For all we know he may even have dander.

The WGT has its nasties and wackos like any other site, but Jim ain't one of 'em.
