Doc, it aint the first time, hes often been on here when things are not going for him.

When he scores well he says nothing, when he scores sh1t hes all over here .

I personally aim well right of that flag when wind <<<<<<<<<

I aim right of that flag when no side wind

To me that hole is like Merion 17th back flag

    Just remember that next time.

the shot was not at the flag it was the 1st shot off the tee....:)...

and yes having played the hole a number of times (when at even score) the wind has always effect the shot.....but 99% of the time i dont post anything here because of the silly replies in a "help forum"....:)...when i see something i cant explain i have to post....

ITS NO ONLY THE WIND NOT MOVING THE BALL LEFT TO RIGHT LIKE IT SHOULD OF....BUT THE FACT THAT ON A DINGED SHOT THE BALL MOVED LEFT IN THE AIR AND LANDED IN BUNKER.....LMAO

So, when someone does offer a plausible explanation for what happened, you choose to ignore it. If you search "circle of precision" in the box to your right ( providing the wind will allow it :) I think you'll find the reason no two " perferctly executed " shots will come out the same. And yes, WGT bunkers do have the gravitational pull of a black hole and will swiftly suck in all types of matter ( golf balls preferred ).

    Doc :)

WHAT YOU ON ABOUT.....NOT SHOT AT FLAG...1ST SHOT OFF TEE....WTF.

Capitals aint nice, they not really needed as all they show is you are tying to shout down your laptop/phone/tablet.

Anyway.......for last time, the wind comes stronger from right than you think on that hole... IMO remember, thus cancelling out your >>>>>>> breeze.

So slight wind, which yours was, has slight chance of getting back >>>>>>> if you have aimed at bunker........thats if you dinged it.....as per below.

Precision circle on your clubs may move it in a yard, or poss 2 yards, or 3 yards etc etc. It will never be the same every shot....or highly unlikely.

If it did then this game would be so easy , everyone would have a measure and everyone who dinged would land in the same spot every time, thus meaning the only important factor in this game would be wether you dinged...or not.

Thank the lord for precision circle as i dont want to be bored sh1tless.

Another thing to remeber about # 2 at RSG is that from the tee the camera angles are poor at best. Your aim spot could be as much as 5 to 6 yards off negating or exaggerating the affect the wind has on the ball. Plus with the poor camera angle the cross wind indicator could be off as well. And all this depends on the shot really being dinged. And we all know even a slight miss ding against the wind can negate the affect of the wind on the shot causing it to go straight. All plausible reasons the wind didn't affect the shot like he expected which of course he will ignore.

Somehow I may have over-read the obvious in one of the replies (as I just glanced over it)? The wind has different effects on shots based on THE DISTANCE YOU HIT IT FROM. I read guys making statements on how far a certain cross wind will move the ball without any indication on how far you hit from? If I hit a 50 yard wedge, the wind most certainly have minimal effect on the ball while a 3 iron will be greatly affected. So before one can make a statement on the impact, all facts should be known …

True, as been discussed by myself and even groups of members long before I noticed - it seems to wind pointer is relative to the avatar forward (seen when the avatar aim arcs are aligned) as shown in the image and discussed in several threads.

This might (or might not) be why people say 'the wind had no affect' or the 'ball went WTF' when it was a misunderstanding of the wind bearing.

[or just to keep it simple, scroll thru course cameras to find the best angle to determine the accurate wind bearing]
