playing a club tourney....royal st georges....played about 15 rounds since tourney was posted so am familiar with it......

1 hole....normally manage to par this one but today managed a birdie..wow!.....

then it started...the 2nd hole 9+ cross wind left to right.....had this condition 3-5 times...so i know what to do....aim just to thr right of bunker and the wind will do the rest...dinged my shot....but hey ho...wind  had no effect on the ball , in fact ball moved left and landed in the bunker ???.any experts care to explain this one...lol.....

2 hole same thing the wind refused to have any effect on the shot....

this situation carried on until by hole 6 i will +1 having stuggled against the game .....

once i was +1 the game went back to "normal" and wind started to effect the shots.....but to late i was now +2

its is totally unfair for the game to randomly or maybe its on purpose alter the conditiosn just because i managed to birdie the 1st hole....lol

    Well, it's clear what happened.

The system received such a cosmic shock by the birdie you made that we're all fortunate a black hole wasn't created. Thankfully, within the space of a few holes, the system was able to correct and stabilize itself. It's more of a statement on the inherent stability and resiliency of the system.

But in retrospect, we were all on the verge of apocalyptic disaster.

Won't argue with that. You got me.

I mean... you're just so far up there with your thinking. It's almost as if you're in another dimension of time, space, and cognitive awareness that I simply fail to comprehend, let alone be able to formulate a coherent response to.

Pay no attention to these mooks, I know what the problem is.  You say the wind has no effect on your balls...it's obvious you're buying underwear that's a couple of sizes too small.

Or you could golf in a kilt and the wind will have a field day with your balls.

The effect of the wind is in direct proportion to the proximity of the target  (hole)
