Looks like you didn't have enough loft to clear the upslope that was in front of you.
Am guessing it is this. The way it works, the system "knows" that you hit the slope but the visuals don't depict this well. It's like when you can't clear the lip of a bunker: you get a short shot that exits the bunker but the visuals do not show the ball actually hitting the lip.
I had a similar thing recently at St. George's 7th hole, hitting a 3-wood from the left of the fairway and not clearing the gunk inside the dogleg.

I have had this happen also, and if he did happen to select a punch shot it would have had zero chance of clearing the up slope.
