    AllSkill:
I am surprised no one has ever brought this issue up considering many of you play in real life.
Hey AllSkill....  this has been brought up on numerous occasions... all you have to do is plug in the words "Driver" and "Fairway" in the little search thing-a-ma-jiggy over there ------------>>>  You'll see lots and lots of discussion dating back to 2009.

Pros do hit driver off the deck occasionally but its become more and more rare. I watch PGA golf every week and the last time I remember anyone doing it was Alvos Quiros over a year ago.

I do think they should allow it in WGT but, to make it real, you would have to DING it to get any results. Any mishit would need to be as severe as real life.

Actually, Sergio and Ryan Palmer both hit 'deck dogs' last week at Las Colinas in the final round..Pretty sure they were both using the R11 ...

Yep. The video I posted of Bubba Watson is from earlier in the year at Kapalua.
