I like that shot , tried it myself once by mistake toe ended my 4 iron of the tee skipped 3 times of the water & ended up on the green..

i have noticed when i hit a hybred or 3 wood, there is a tee jumping out from under your club. thought that was a no no

I have an 8.5 degree TaylorMade Burner 2.0 in real life, and I would love to see anyone try and hit it off of the fairway. ;)

Same with the R11.

I've got an 8.5 war bird and i can hit it off the deck, it can be done.

Yeah I've even seen it in the first cut rough. I think its just due to them cutting corners in the animation aspect a tad.
