  WGT have sneaked a change through with the 12 hourly free club passes. I noticed over the festive period that I wasn't been given my daily free club pass and wondered if it was because of the club passes I already had through club clashes and prizes from our club tournaments. So I sent the following question to the WGT help desk and their reply....

  Hello
  I have noticed that during the last couple of months if you have lots of club passes through winning them on the club clashes or being gifted them by the club owner that they no longer automatically get added every 12 hours. For instance I had four yesterday and I have two today having used two yesterday so what happened to my free daily club pass?. I reckon that during December I probably missed out on about 20 'free' WGT club passes as I was always in credit. Is this a deliberate policy on your part to put off people from buying/giving/earning club passes...????

  Thank you for your message. Free CC Passes are awarded every 12 hours to players that do not currently have any CC Passes in their inventory. If you currently have passes, the free passes are not added as they do not stack unless you have a Premier Membership.

  Its always been like that .As long as you are buying passes you wont get a free one . We cant stockpile the free pass and that has always been the case . You just actually noticed it thats all . Me personally I dont and wont buy club passes and many other players are the same way . In the club where I `m a member its that way as well . Club members are told they do not have to buy them but the choice is theirs if they wish too .

  So dont be discouraged over it as its not important . The club passes dont benefit the clubs after L5 I think . Once the club has both the putter and swing pal there`s nothing left to get . Anything after that is just blown smoke and nothing more . Once you reach L 100 they have no benefit to you either .

  In the last two club clashes I noticed that after I played my first clash using the my one and only pass, it made me wait 12 hours for the next pass rather than the usual 4 hours this meant that I was only able to play twice on the first day. The next time the club clashes came around it did the same again to me. As an experiment i bought a pass and played it and yes it then reverted to 4 hour passes. Somehow I felt I had been conned.

  Our club owner gifts 5 club passes to the top three point scorers and I am wondering whether it is worth it if it then means that we then miss out of the free 12 hourly club passes...

  It does mean exactly that, and it can't be worth a single Millim (minor value of the Tunesian currency, 1/1000 Dinar).

  Not for you, because you gain nothing (except the expectation to use them = play more),

  not for your CC of L14, because there's nothing of real value left to benefit from in the next levels.

  It's already hard to gain reasonable CC XPs with the second free pass of the day, once the CDP bonus has been taken. Imagine at which cost the additional XPs come, and tomorrow, you will play a 37 pass instead of a free pass :(

  The biggest trap comes up in the CC Events IMHO. Once a player buys (or gets gifted) a CC pass for a second game in a Clash, he won't be able to use a free pass in the next Clash, due to the four hour wait (assumed that it works).

  For all these reasons, I am preaching to my CC members relentlessly NOT to buy any passes, NEVER!
