WGT are missing a trick here.

Would you pay $1 a round to finally get a chance at playing courses like Augusta, Wolf Creek or TPC Sawgrass on WGT?

    I certainly would.

I'd pay 100 credits, but not $1. And TPC Sawgrass is probably my favorite course of all time, so I'd love to see it here.

I'd rather jam knitting needles in my wedding tackle than play cartoon golf.

I've only played CTTH there but compared to the other courses on offer Cabo looks rubbish, if this is as good as TruGolf gets then they can stick it. If I want to play Augusta I'll rummage around in the back of the cupboard for Links 2003 and the add on DVD, if my memory serves me right it looks as least as good as that joke we have to pay $1 to play here.

Sorry WGT, you let your standards fall there, all the other courses are brilliant but Cabo looks like someone sat with Arnold Palmer course designer for a few hours and thought, sod it, that'll do.

im a wgt addict but i wouldnt part with 100 credits to play any course!! i spend enough on equipment and about 1000 credits a week on balls so they can stick their green fee`s where the sun dont shine as far as i`m concerned!!     tws

    No.

I suggested it at the time of the original Truegolf thread. If there are all these millions of players on WGT, ask them for 40 cents to cover the cost of developing a new course.

1 million by 40 cents = $400,000. That should cover the development cost.

    2 to 3 courses a year = $1.20 cost to player.

WGT thus as all it's advertising money left over for itself.

Pay per round is a bad idea.

And to WGT - having 4 weekly stroke play tournaments and only using 2 of the courses for them is also a bad idea. Divide them up better and use the courses. When Congressional and RSG come on stream use them too.

There should never be more than one tourney per week on the same course

I totally agree with you. I would rather have a variety of courses to chose from. Better chance to get a course I want to play, instead of two USGA ones.

Just played Cabo...well, 4 holes at least...and then quit because it was all I could take of looking at that amateurish rendition of a golf course and was filled with resentment that I was expected to waste 100 credits to suffer through what I am sure has damaged my vision for life. lol
