Based on your profile picture you appear to be a mobile player. Given you are struggling somewhat, you may not be doing well in the coin games, but if you are and you have coins to use... then trying to upgrade to one of the more reasonably priced coin rentals may help your game. This also saves you spending credits on lower level clubs that you would replace after getting promoted to another tier. You will still need to learn how to hit the shots but slightly better clubs will help.
Also, on the mobile platform you can watch the video advertisement for 2 credits per video... while it is tedious and annoying with a bit of effort you can eventually acquire a little stash of credits to begin looking at picking up better clubs eventually but if you can't learn to play at least par golf on some of the easier course setups with starter equipment then better clubs may not help you.
Also, if you are a dedicated mobile user... you can look for a country club that focus on the mobile game as they may be best suited to offer help. Since cross platform play can not happen with desktop users (unless they use an android emulator on the PC) you can't play practice rounds with desktop users to get tips where you could with some of your mobile friends.
There are a variety of tips on youtube videos and some players have personal websites offering tips. If you have a particular weakness... search the forum and you will likely find the topic has been covered.
Some of it comes down to how much work you are willing to put into it, but the resources are out there! But it is not feasible to share and detail and link all of them in one forum post.
I do know Luckystar5, who is a country club owner, is a dedicated mobile user (tablet) and likes to help out lower tier players willing to invest the time. You may shoot him a friend request as well!
