    Nancy1959:

The people that get booted from our CC are people that join and never play or contribute.  We have too many people who want to be part of our club to keep around a bunch of dead weight.

Also, in the past there was a lot of stupid drama in our CC.  Our owner (for some reason) put up with it and we lost a lot of good members as a result.  Fortunately, those few "bad apples" that caused all of that madness are now gone and we have been drama free and happy ever since.  Two of them left on their own and the other was booted shortly thereafter because he got really out of hand.  Good riddance, LOL!  I just wish it had happened a year and a half ago because we wouldn't have lost so many good people during that period of time.

As far as winning a gold putter, it's not as far of a journey like some think, as many of us already have one.  Clearly, if someone's a good contributor, it's only a half year journey.  I was offered mine after less than four months (but declined for another four months to let other members get theirs first).  And it's not just about a gold putter....it's about being part of a great team who pulls together for each other and has a lot of great people in the club.  Otherwise, why would those of us who already have our gold putter keep Clashing enough to ensure an easy victory?  I don't know of any members who feel (or act) like we are better than everyone else.  But we do recognize that we are part of a very special country club.

As far as doing something for the WGT community, we have more generous people in our CC than I have seen elsewhere, so I'm not sure what you are talking about unless it has something to do with one of your causes that we aren't aware of.

It's been my experience that people that speak poorly of us either don't know us, or they were a part of our CC when all that stupid drama always surrounded us.  In any case, we don't need your (or others) approval.   :)

Kudos to Nancy for leaving The Georgian & foregoing her 64 Trillion XP,

A brave Lady to start the long slog from scratch again

    cgindecent:

Been playing for 6 days or so now, level 30 avg score 70 as a pro....looking to get somewhat serious in the game.  Looking for an active and experienced club

    Hello,

I will come to the point directly.

I would say, join a club thats totally comfortable for you. The club that will mould you to be a better player in every aspect. I would also say that never join a club who will pressurise you for XPs or anything. The daily xp deal will never end up good in long run, if you aren't available all the time. There are so many CC's who don't do that n accept new tier members.

Having said that, I would also like to point out that, the more progress you get, the more likely you will get into some best clubs in WGT. The amazing "Shark People of Clubs".

Now irrespective of everything mentioned, if you ever end up having doubts about anything under wgt, feel free to hit wall post of any top players or start a forum n clear your doubts. End of the day, every one had doubts, and they all earned top position by getting helps by others. So always ask for help !

    Good Luck. Best wishes !

    -Carl

Sorry but I must have missed some of your generous members donating in the Christmas in July thread, But I did see some of your members, including yourself, looking for gifts which I did gift to. Be safe and keep it in the fairway.

    SeveFrost:

Isn't allowing this 2nd Georgian club going to further monopolize the CC clashes and other team events?

Who cares about the clash. I don't. I play a few rounds to help our club get in the top 50 which is our club goal
