The people that get booted from our CC are people that join and never play or contribute. We have too many people who want to be part of our club to keep around a bunch of dead weight.
Also, in the past there was a lot of stupid drama in our CC. Our owner (for some reason) put up with it and we lost a lot of good members as a result. Fortunately, those few "bad apples" that caused all of that madness are now gone and we have been drama free and happy ever since. Two of them left on their own and the other was booted shortly thereafter because he got really out of hand. Good riddance, LOL! I just wish it had happened a year and a half ago because we wouldn't have lost so many good people during that period of time.
As far as winning a gold putter, it's not as far of a journey like some think, as many of us already have one. Clearly, if someone's a good contributor, it's only a half year journey. I was offered mine after less than four months (but declined for another four months to let other members get theirs first). And it's not just about a gold putter....it's about being part of a great team who pulls together for each other and has a lot of great people in the club. Otherwise, why would those of us who already have our gold putter keep Clashing enough to ensure an easy victory? I don't know of any members who feel (or act) like we are better than everyone else. But we do recognize that we are part of a very special country club.
As far as doing something for the WGT community, we have more generous people in our CC than I have seen elsewhere, so I'm not sure what you are talking about unless it has something to do with one of your causes that we aren't aware of.
It's been my experience that people that speak poorly of us either don't know us, or they were a part of our CC when all that stupid drama always surrounded us. In any case, we don't need your (or others) approval. :)
