Has anyone tried to rank the available courses in terms of difficulty? In other words how easy it is to score under par?

    Thanks!

Let's see... for me they go: (easiest to hardest... by 9s)

    1) Back 9 - Kiawah

    2) Back 9 - St. Andrews

    3) Front 9 - St. Andrews

    4) Front 9 - Bethpage

    5) Front 9 - RSG

    6) Front 9 - Kiawah

    7) Back 9 - Congressional

    8) Back 9 - Bethpage

    9) Back 9 - Oakmont

    10) Back 9 - RSG

    11) Front 9 - Congressional

    12) Front 9 - Oakmont

It can depend on your tier. Kiawah back 9 is a lot harder for Legends.

Perhaps... but as my first round as a Legend, I entered a CC tourney at Kiawah, not realizing it was single play until I had entered play LOL.  Missed birdie on #1 and looked for restart but found only withdraw so I continued.  I shot a 30 on the back 9 after a 32 front 9.

Piz is correct. Take # 16 for example. It goes from nothing more than a wedge from the master tees to anywhere from a 9 iron all the way down to a 3 iron from the legend tees.

Also if you had already entered than tourney before you advanced then even though you are now a legend you would be playing under tour master conditions.

I didn't.  It was a newly created CC tourney and believe me, the first thing I did was to check distances.  It was Legend tees.  And I am really glad I was able to keep the score.  I paid to enter it thinking it was unlimited, and if my score had been a few strokes higher I prolly wouldn't have kept it.

Easy to hard from black tees assuming wind is low and actual legend tournament speed greens. With high winds it's a crap shoot.

    STA

    KIA & BPB - Tie

    CCC

    RSG*

    OAK

*I've only played RSG 10-15 times total. Probably should of just left it out.

    My personal easiest to hardest:

    1. STA

    2. RSG

    3. CCC

    4. KIA

    5. OAK

    6. BPB

However, this is off Master tees. RSG and CCC are a lot shorter off Master tees E.G. On RSG back 9 I can have 5 wedge approaches with the right wind.
