I doubt there will be anything new from WGT until next summer considering they've just added two new courses. Regarding Pebble Beach, it's not a case of it being unlocked, the entire course has to be photographed for stroke play which involves thousands and thousands of photos as opposed to just a handful of photos for CTTH. We will get it eventually but we may have to wait until 2019 when the US Open returns there.

I imagine the next 18 hole course is The Olympic Club, as WGT add all the US Open and British Open courses for stroke play (with the exception of Pebble Beach in 2010).

In the behind-the-scenes RSG video they (WGT) said it takes 6 months for them to make a stroke play course. Do the maths, that means they work round-the-clock just to produce 2 stroke play courses a year.

However, you can probably expect a Closest to the Hole course within the next couple of months.

You can play Pebble Beach here but it is with EZ swing clubs and starter balls. The best thing is you can play each hole over and over again.

Pebble Beach is not locked as such. It was here in a Closest to the Hole format for about 2 months and was then greyed out. It appears to be a contractual problem. Icon has said that it will be back at some time in the future he is not sure when.

As for new Stroke play courses I would't look for any new ones this year.

#1 They just brought out 2 new Courses in the past 3 months. And it takes up to 6 months from starting to take the pictures needed for a full 18 hole stroke course to finish.

#2 And with it costing close to $250,000 to produce a full 18 hole stroke play course 2 a year is probably just about all that WGT can afford.

As far as WGT courses concerned I think you're right. Would expect a new Trugolf course in the near future though. At least that's what they have announced in April. To be honest I was expecting a new Trugolf course once every 2 or 3 months....perhaps they backed off a bit because of lacking appetite.....:)

As a player who only plays stroke play, I definitely wish it were possible to get more courses up, but I appreciate the detail and cost required to make them makes it hard to do.  Personally I don't even care what course they put up, whether they're courses from major championships not.  I'd love to play any and all random courses.
