The idea of moving up in tiers is to keep you "interested" in the game. If it became too easy, you would lose "interest". Playing at higher tiers will create a need for you to invest in better clubs and balls, and keep you working to get better - causing your interest (or frustration) level to remain high. So, to summarize, WGT is interested in is keeping us frustrated and spending $ , whether we be masters or mistresses. And we love it!

I find myself agreeing with everything you said, except for the last bit.
In my case, I find myself about 15 levels short of worthwhile upgrades in equipment over what i have. Sure, I can click play and put together a decent score. But it'll be about 4 shots minimum off the pace. Sort of the way it goes with med/high trajectory clubs to elevated greens from 190+ out.
I've found the three days since being promoted to Master have in fact been the most boring and tedious days I've spent at WGT. There is absolutely nothing to look forward to. Can't really compete, nothing worthwhile to unlock on the horizon, and just game after game trying to sponge exp with no end in sight.
