    Thanks guys! Made me chuckle! And why has my average now gone from 66.96 to 74??

    Because you moved up into a new tier & shot a 37 in your first round in that tier

    37x2 = 74 (18 hole total av.)

     Your average will level out again over time..gl!

    Start shooting a lot of 4 under par rounds and it will go down, 3 under doesn't move it down anymore.  Enjoy the new learning curve and don't get upset when Tour Pros you used to beat on a regular basis now whoop your butt.

    Personally I wanted to become a Mistress but it seems that any advantage available to the other Mistresses I know are not readily available here.

    Perhaps Ike, you could show me a way...?

    And as for the OP, the only way is down, just like those other Mistresses I was thinking about.

    take up a different line in mistressing....

    no going down, well, not by mistress anyway   :)

    Look at it as a challenge. :-)

    Hell I am still trying to adjust to the Tour Pro tier that I advanced to from the Pro.

    Only now that I have a longer driver I can hit better approach shots to deal with the faster greens. It is going to take some work to make it to Master.

    I can only imagine what happens when you make it to the Masters level.

    In any case you need long drives and shorter approach shots to make at the Tour Pro/Master level.

    Mav, I'm struggling to see what you're worried about to be honest.  You're level 75.  Try Master at level 44 - like me.  I'd happily trade places.  I've got weeks of grind ahead of me before I can get the equipment needed to even things out again.

    I'm level 75 because i have played a lot. Then i get 'rewarded' for decent play with an average going up 7 points and tees further away resulting in worse scores. Still not happy!

    The idea of moving up in tiers is to keep you "interested" in the game.  If it became too easy, you would lose "interest".  Playing at higher tiers will create a need for you to invest in better clubs and balls, and keep you working to get better - causing your interest (or frustration) level to remain high.  So, to summarize,  WGT is interested in is keeping us frustrated and spending $$ , whether we be masters or mistresses.  And we love it!

    After 40 ranked rounds, it will lock your average. It can only go down from there. Rounds of 80 would not raise it anymore. just keep playing for the sub par rounds .

    I managed the master as a mistress, when this mistress missed making up tour master, but as to a master whose missed his mistress, he missed most of his mistresses misses. Now as tour master I miss much less misses, being a mistress and no longer a mistress to a master making his missus more of a mistress, but I guess I'm still his mistress he misses most.
