  My first round playing Oakmont as a "Legend".  #8 - a 299 yard par 3 - Really??  Is this fun or what?  C

  I holed out on it week or so ago in a match with our current US Open champ. It was awesome!

  I don't remember... we play quite often, so it's not really about winning anymore but instead of just spending time in good company.

  • iconian and PGAbound67 defeated mrenn29 and StoneColdKiller in a 9-hole Alternate Shot game on OAKMONT CC.

  There, that's the only recent match he's had.

  that one is different. it was a rated game so it wouldn't show :)

  Found this old thread right in the section I would like to share a replay, of course Oakmont no. 8 but nope, it's not a tee shot hole out but a recovery after a long one, fortunately landed a couple of yards before the brush but still in the bunker. Thought that a flop was a nice choice and that's how I close off the hole. One of my best ever recovery shot.

  Hope that my final 29 will reserve me a top 10 placement.
