    Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two replays above:

    Interesting to me how the balls react differently from about the same position (above and left of the cup).

    lateball's shot seems to be repelled by the cup while Donko's seems attracted to the cup.

    It's all about speed. One shot bulled its way past the hole, lost the momentum and rolled back down the hill, too fast to avoid that swerve. The other shot rolled up just past the  hole and in rolling back down was slow enough for that swerve to not affect it the same way. In fact, it steered the ball to the hole. I'd say the laws of physics played true.
