In real life Golf we have 2, player Tier's Amateur,  Professional,  l think w.g.t would be more realistic  if only these 2, Tiers were employed. in the game, Pro shop Products would still be unlocked by levels acheived through game play, l dont know if game play hours are also counted towards Levels, and unlocks  any one know ?

The tiers are in place to genuinely balance competition. If you were new here, you wouldn't want to be playing against other Amateurs who have been here for a year, would you?

And game play hours are not counted towards levels, though they are correlated. XP is the only factor that contributes to level.

There may be only 2 tiers as you call it in real life golf but there is more to it than that. In almost every local tournament like your club championship there is just 1 tier amateur but there are as many as 4 of 5 flights. Only the best qualify for the championship flight and everyone else goes to the lower flights based on their score. Pretty much the same thing here.
