    andyson:
I understand there are a few bugs yet to resolve, but one of the benefits of them working on baseball to WGT golf is we will soon have left handed avatars.  As shown in this exclusive photo from Wikileaks.

Found a freebie version by accident, in training at the moment.  Be prepared though,  the update may also include something called   'The New Economy'   lol

Sorry no time to post image, but here's link.

I've been looking for someone who posted far enough back to have learned yet near enough that you're still in the game! Chipping! Everything else I'm getting. Reading greens, drives, getting out of the rough. But if I'm sitting 3 yards off the green and 17 yards from the pin, ball in about 10-20%, and I swing about 70% on the meter with backspin, and plop. My ball goes 3 yards off to the right! Still off the green, second shot not any better! I've gone through the vids and searched forums. Any tips?

    Tom,

There is great info on Chipping and Pitching on the right of this screen under the FAQs:

    Chip and Pitch Tips

Written by WGTIcon (when he was known as Iconian) it is the Bible of WGT short game.

For your example above, be careful using Chip when more than 1 or 2 yards off the green in the rough the ball doesn't carry very far, especially when choked down (i.e. 70% in your example.)

Use a Pitch or Flop shot, depending on the green speed and slope, in that position.

Thanks very much for replying so quickly. I've bookmarked Iconian's post and will apply the information. The most ironic part of it is, the same chipping flub I was looking for help on is my greatest weakness on a real course!

I AGREE,As ball heads toward hole, angle of view toward putt will change and then speed will pick up and fly by,roll over,go around, and just plain miss perfect putt.Never used to do this game has become very unenjoyable to play any more because of inconsistent green play.RIDICULESS!!!!
