Being -11 at Cabo 14th i was confidant of good score, i landed my approach within 2 yards, had a 4 foot putt, not too difficult break, i aim only for the "not so difficult break" to act much steeper and my ball rims out and land 3 foot other side.  I take aim for my par putt, a 3 footer with break, i aim at right of cup only for break not to effect shot andi rim out again. Damn a birdie gone into a bogey putt.  On my bogey putt my meter skips, but only slightly, i miss ding by a fraction, but its enough to send ball wide with break.  My doublr bogey putt i was so pi55ed with myself i just hit with front view and tried to slice to compensate for break.  THAT EVEN MISSED!

Wow a easy birdie turns into a 5 putt from 4 foot.  You need a notebook to see what part of greens at Cabo are true and what are false.  Another good score turns into a frustration withdrawal from cabo. LOL

Maybe WGT did the same thing to your putter that they did to your Burners.  LOL

Believe it or not, Chris, this is what I think creeps up on you after a while. You play a ton of golf and I know you're not 100% the same every day, every round. Some days are better than others for all of us and not because the game changes-we change. After a while you're so comfortable with your game you slack off a bit on the focus. Little things escape your notice, like maybe the subtle difference in wind direction you would have noticed if you were solidly focused that caused your shot to go someplace you didn't expect.

Take the R11s you now rave about. I could go back to the Burner thread when they first came out, find a post of yours and substitute the G10s/Burners for the Burners/R11s and read the same claims. It's positive change for the good, bro. Enjoy it and loosen up a little.  ;-)

Yep,   "lazy putting" as I remember you calling it YJ.

When I play too often I kinda rush through it too much.   And the putts inside 10 feet is where I F up the most ;-)
