EA Sports has a lock on that one exclusively for probably 100 years. LOL! We will probably never, ever see that here!

I say now that WGT has shown they can mix and match holes to make new courses, how about more of them, including Oakmont? The hype has begun for next year's course in California and I'd like to think we aren't going to have to wait until May 2012 for another course. Six great courses now with more to come is encouraging but there are some nice combos they could put together in the meantime.

I have the same hoping as you do Jim. Did not understand why they left Oakmont out in WGT Best. But they should make their goal, making at least 3 courses a year, plus some mixers from available courses.

Other ideas for "Best of..." courses:  Let's keep them to 9 holes so the main idea is not diluted.

    - 9 holes with toughest greens

    - 9 holes with most water

    - 9 holes that are the sandiest

    - 9 shortest holes

    - 9 longest holes

    - 9 most beautiful holes

    ... and my favorite:

    - 9 holes that are best for carrying a flask.

    Great idea double.

I am curious as to why WGT didn't include any Oakmont holes in the initial Best of....like to see an answer.

To me this would be an easy way to make a couple of new courses a year to shut us up a little bit   lol

Another great idea would be an all par 5 par 3 course....
