One more time:) Tailwinds do not Pose enough problem to level Random wind settings,When in fact Tail wind on a links course should be the biggest problem wind,

I had a 20 mph crosswind from right to left today on hole 16 SA... aimed close to the right rough, but still on the fairway, missed the ding a little to the right, but only a little and the ball went out of bounds. Even if I had missed 1/4 of an inch I wouldn't agree completely with the result, the only good thing is that I had only a few shots left. There was enough wind to bring the ball into the fairway, didn't ding it but I am sure that I didn't miss it so badly as to go OOB.

huge tailwinds on wgt rattle the ball further down the fairway and closer to the pin. in real life lobbing the other 60 yrds to the pin and trying to get it to stop are a huge hassle......but here on wgt you can easily adjust for the tailwind (maybe 5 or 6 yrds) then stop the ball on a dime next to the flag.

They suspend play on the tour when the winds prevent the ball from staying at rest on the green.

Not in the Opens (only time I have seen the courses in action).

I've watched British Opens at SA, have seen 400+ yard drives with irons, putts from fairways...both which are not a possibility on WGT, but were done regularly at RSA.
LOL This is the point i am trying to get across lol, Tail winds are too easy on WGT,He had to hit an iron because the wood cant stop he had to putt from fairway because chip pitch or flop wont stop,This is the issue i am addressing,Tail winds dont pose the problem they should to equal random wind set up.:)

So true, my guess would be that the programmers just don't know the whole aspects of real life golf, hence we are playing within their rules.

The only hole's that do pose a problem with tailwind are the par#3's at R.St.G.  All the rest are as what's said previously, "can stop on a dime" (maybe you might be unlucky on ST andrews #7 and get a 5 yard roll with 30 mph tailwind, but only RARELY.
