  maybe it's only me,but....

  if the flag is long and my shot is short, the ball roll back till almost the beginning of the green...this is fair.... but, why if the flag is short and i make the same shot the ball stop and don't roll back???? also with tourney or champ. green...

  Yancy or Andyson, please help me!

  I have to agree that the roll back when the flag is at the front, is almost non existent. The only logical reason for it, must be that the slope from back to front drops sharply at the start, then lessens the further down the green is goes.

  Having just had a look at it, 20 feet short of the pin there is very little difference in elevation. The next 20 feet the elevation drops 20 inches, the next 20 feet it only drops 3 inches.

  What front pin? Lmao, haven't seen that pin in yonks. When I did see it, didn't have decent spin clubs so I'm afraid I can't explain it using past experience, but I have a theory...

  With the pin being so much easier, the only chance I'd get to see it is in practice mode & easy pins, so it'd be on the VF greens. VF greens are slower, so it'd be less likely to roll back.

  However, this is useless info if the mystery happens in a ranked round if you're a TM or Legend.

  TY Tiffer! agree with you, but what i mean is:

  with 18mph wind at 7:00 and long flag, i play my r11 195 full bs....obviously, i land short and the ball roll back around 5ft from the front fringe....but with same conditions of wind, and with short flag,the ball dont roll back! or maybe only 2 ft...this is the Mistery!

  LOL...in the Legend St. Andrews Back9 RG's, sometimes you can find also the short pin!

  No, it's not only you..... I've been thinking the same thing for ages and would like to know the answer to your question too....lol
