to make the game more fair for all wgt should give each participant the same amount of coins for game play only then each player can spend on the rounds they want .. when u run out .. game over

    PSA:

One can choose to play or not to play this coin chaos.

I don't see the point in complaining.  If you don't like it, just don't play it.

I played it for a few hours yesterday.

The bottom line here is that the prizes are way too cheap for the expense it would take to get the prizes.  At the current pace you'd need 10 plus hours a day to play and probably 7-10 sleeves of ball at a bare minimum to have a shot at the top 10 for the week.

It's basically the worst gaming vig i've ever seen.

    i'm guessing it's probably a 99% rake.

We have been discussing Chaos in BD.  This is what I posted in our club forum.

:I played 4 rounds on Day 1 (Noon Mon-Tuesday US Eastern) and 5 rounds on Day 2.

I went 2-2 on Day 1 and 4-1 on Day 2, finishing 19th and 5th, respectively and earned a total of 1700 points.  That got me 4000 coins, a 1 and 2 hour ultra boost bottle, and an apparel box.  If one is planning to play in the Montreal or Casablanca room anyway, it is a little extra something.

As for competing for a weekly bonus, after 2 days the person in 100th place had over 13,000 points compared to my 1700.  Never going to play in enough coin games to compete with the serious coin players.

To conclude, for me, the attitude is take advantage of the marginal benefit if I am going to play the coin game anyway.  But I am not going out of the way to do so.

A descent event, but not nearly as good as the Showdowns.  As others have pointed out, the event doesn't necessarily measure skill, but rather who has more time to play.

For the prizes, I think only the daily prizes were reasonable.  If you just finish in the top 5 or so, you'll get 1-3 balls, which is OK.  The global prizes definitely need to be better.  It took the 100th place player an average of around 5800 points per day, and their reward is just 1 ball.

There's an easy way to make the event more competitive for those with less time.  That would be to put a cap on the maximum number of matches per day that count towards the standings.

Not sure what the perfect number would be, but say the cap was around 10 matches or so.  With 3 holes per match, that would be 30 coin holes total, which would still take some dedication to play all 10 per day.  But that would take around 1.5 - 2 hours per day, so it is doable if players really want to compete in the global rankings.

I am asking because of your name and you mentioned possible delays receiving prizes. Here's my problem: I placed 1st in the Montreal room Weekend play. No prize yet received.
I placed on each day's play 5th, 3rd, 5th, 8th 3rd, and 1st on Weekend. I have so far only received 2 prize packages, none of which seem to match up with any of my Top Ten finishes.
Top Ten for every day of Coin Chaos including a 1st, and barely nothing to show for it.
What the heck is going on??
According to the Prize Schedule, I am owed 1800 Credits!

    Might you have Any insight?
    Thanks

I am hoping you can help get this corrected. So far, no reply from emailing support. (Typical, as I have not gotten a reply from support in a couple of years to any of my emails.)

    Thanks
