Great input everyone!,,,, I was hoping to get a good discussion out of it instead of the normal complaint stuff we usually get.
Now, how about people that still carry the hybrid ;-)
I am by no means close to a top player but have never owned a Hybrid ( apart from when i was a hack and got a free one) Iv always relied on my 3 Wood, Punching a 3 wood out 40% rough works well for me, I have 4 wedges i use but dont use them often anymore, ( besides blitz) I use 3 wedges and a 3 wood. Not many Greens are reachable without the 3wood in ur bag as a Legend.

The lure of an Eagle (to me) far out weighs the ability to save a par.
Although I don't have them yet, I think the CG wedges with their spin, can easily cover all gaps needed without the use of a 4th wedge. My low level pings and TM do "okay". but as I have seen first hand, all three of my wedges can be out played by just two CG wedges
