  LOL, yup, you were right on that, Jeff!  I had forgotten about this thread, but I just reread it.  I wonder if WGT has done anything to make it tougher to cheat with people creating multiple accounts, etc.  I haven't been on the forums much lately.  I'll have to poke around.

  I think the only way to prevent cheat's is to show each player's meter, whoever is shooting all other player's see the meter. I know people r going to say then other players will be able to copy ur shot's like for distance and where to hit before ding or after to compensate for wind ect. But also do not show how the person aim's just show meter. it shouldnt matter each player still has to perform the shot not everyone is going to have the same shot or same distance to shoot from. Just my thought and I think its a gr8 idea....... Just show each player's meter for all player's to see....

  I'm curious as to what that would show, or how it would prevent cheats, what would I be looking for, dings all the time. How many in a row do I start accusing the guy of cheating.

  I wouldn't mind seeing the aim, the club selection, the meter, the spin etc, just not sure how it would prevent cheats. But I can be a little slow.

  Would make Match play more fun IMHO to see it all, the guy that goes first is the Ginny pig so to speak.

   

  Wouldnt it be like when a player live stream's a game u only see there meter,u would be able to see if they r using a auto dinger or some kind of cheat like that, wgt should be able to make it so u see there meter on ur screen when its there shot. im not a computer geek.....lol, but i dont think it would be that hard to do.

  You want to see their screen and task-bar, OK that is different then, of course that would prevent plenty. Cause more lag and double the server load but that is the only down side to that.

  And yeah it would be hard to do. but what's a few million to a 100 million dollar company.

  Not so much see there task bar but just the meter, who's ever shot it is there meter is displayed, that would show if they r using auto dinger or what ever cheat might be used for the meter its self. we dont need to see ne thing else just the meter as the player who is shooting see's it.
