    HI,

While closing in on a 9-hole Multi-Player Stroke Play game yesterday,  I shot my first Hole-in-One at the 8th hole of the Kiawah Course and due to the elation of having aced a shot, I was not able to save the replay after the "Instant Replay" was shown so I reckon that by default, WGT saves these kinds of shots of players, I'd like to know how to locate that replay from yesterday?

I already checked on the Replay highlights page but there is none posted.  I wish there was a way to sort them according to Course, Date, and Player name so that those who failed to save can still retrieve memento replays of these rare shots.

I'm almost certain that WGT will be able to help me in this matter since this is a simple case of data storage and retrieval.

    Hoping for your assistance.

    Desperately seeking Replay,

    Santi

    Hi

No, we do not auto store these. Once replay is saved, then it is stored on your profile or via a certain id. I think until game ends the replays are stored in a cache, which is cleared once game ends. If there are certain bug reports filed, then we have more info available, but I am not sure if a replay is available anyway.

    Hi wgticon,

If that's the case then where is the Instant Replay from yesterday's Ace shot stored then?  If my layman's understanding is correct the least logical, the Replay Highlights Page is a repository or a cache (if that's what it is called in techspeak), of  the Highlighted Replay Shots for a determined period of time before it is automatically purged by the system to the backend, if not to eternity.

Now, since my Ace was just accomplished yesterday why is it not in the Replay page if indeed the purpose is to provide the membership the viewing pleasure and convenience of Instant Replay shots?

Question is, I'd like to watch it....where and how do I view it, if at all it does what it says it would do, that is to "Feature the shot in Replay Highlights"

I hope im making sense to you but these Replays you have made available to us to view and to even to share supposedly with a click of the drop down menu of "WGT COMMUNITY"  right above, is it not?

Let me see my replay from yesterday then, if you please?

    Thanks,

    Santi

Hey Sedge11, I was able to view your saved replays on Firefox. I would suggest that you try clearing your cache/cookies if you have not already or try a different browser already to see if the issue is browser specific.

As far as I'm aware, the replay highlight page will only show replays that the player saved.  Any that were not saved by the player cannot be viewed from this page.

Sorry to say but I think your shot is lost forever.  I'm sure another will come along though  : )

Don't forget to check the date of the post you're responding to Mainz, I used to get tripped up by that one, still do sometimes, but the fear of being ridiculed by Ms Fish has helped me there.

@sedge11. I'll concur with Champ on this one, the view replay link on our profile pages calls a javascript function which, if javascript wasn't enabled in your browser would mean that the link wouldn't work, it would also mean you wouldn't be able to play the game at all, which you obviously can, so that rules that one out. Clear out your browser cache and try again.

"but the fear of being ridiculed by Ms Fish has helped me there."

She has been MIA from these forums for quite some time.

Scott, you may be safe now.:)

Yup, I know she's been away for a while now, but she's kinda done me a little favour with her subtle digs at my observational errors, bless her.  : )
