my 1st real go at the 18 holes ...i only managed a 58 which i reckon's not bad but it won't be enough. having said that, i missed 5 easy birdies that i know fabien would have nailed. all hell broke loose in my house and goofed my concentration or i'd have nailed at least 4 of them for sure.

it's no surprise to me that fabien nailed a 53.....and although i've never played a game with ffudd, i've seen his name around the top of many leaderboards, so his 53 is of no surprise to me either.

i see Sam is happy with his 56.......if only to stop folks writing the "cheater" posts on his profile page.

anyone with doubt can go and watch many top players on their youtube channels showing them playing....and a few even livestream their games.

    Thanks guys for your support.

When I reached legend tier I stuggled as anyone. At that time, when I was looking at the top of the leaderboards I was thinking "wow some players are really good" but I never thought one second that those players were cheating. Instead, I was thinking that if they are good then I can become good too and practiced for that.

If you think that people are cheating to achieve what they achieve, then everything stop there. You will not make any effort to go beyond what you think is your limits. But if you think that those people are good, then you can start to try to be as good. That's just a question of positive mentality which can bring good results here but also in real life.

    Regards

Truer words have never been spoken, and not just as it pertains to WGT as you mentioned.

If things like this are happening to the good players, then WGT should suspend them.  Give them a week ban, and if they still persist and cant get a grip that there's good players much better than themselves then they should go.  None of us should have to putt up with this slander, unless we have another account, or, are sandbaggers. Those are the cheats, not legit-emit good players

Chris, that's just how some people are, in their mind they made every shot correct and still was unable to get a low score, so in their mind someone who did post a low score had to cheat. I on the other hand, I ask myself " what are they doing that I'm not, how are they calculating the wind, are  their clubs calibrated the same as mine, and where are they putting the pointer when aiming the approach shot, and most of all HOW ARE THEY FIGURING OUT THE BREAK IN THE GREEN. I know Sam and I are not friends, but I have seen him play, and I can tell all you guys he does not cheat in any way. He makes mistakes just like all of us. He just knows his clubs.

Also helps in figuring out that hole #5 and #9 at O.C is similar to #1 at B'Page and are 5 yards longer than shown. But putting is the key.  You're not going to land within 6 feet every hole, so the holes that you're left with 15 foot putts, the best can make these just the same as 5 footers.

Doesn't matter how well you play though, it comes down to WGT and its so calle deviation any way.  I birdie first 2 holes, on 3 i get 13 mph right to left wind, i aim more than enough right, yet the DINGED shot starts out from the pin position any way, and not my aim point, this sends me 17 yards left. SO no matter how well you think you've calculated shot, its all down to the golfing gods anyway. (WGT)

Hi Tazmatic and anyone else that is so quick to jump.

As quoted and ironsbone has stated, it is the duel accounts and, password ex-changers that are the real cheaters or from another post that I couldn't have stated any better- PATHETIC LOSERS. If you going to call out "cheaters", THESE are the type of players you want to call out.

As for "low scores". If you look at the players shooting these low scores, most all of them play there *** off, or at one time of another, have played their *** off. Check their score histories. Score histories can speak loud of a players ability. I have been here for a fair amount of time and can honestly say, all the players you see on the top of the LB are players that have practically started the monitors on fire from playing the game so much. These are the players that have a focus like none other. Tunnel vision man. They master EVERY shot. What club to use - when to use it - and how to use it. They use the same gb's all the time. These players become a machine. You could do it too, if you have that drive and or desire. Not everybody does. I for one come in here to hang out and have some fun. I just don't have that drive to master the game nor do I care too. I can shoot some fairly low scores every now and again, just look at my score history. So ,on the couple real low scores I have shot over a period of 2 or 3 months was I cheating, of course not. I just had a very good game. I just dont have that "tunnel vision" man, or do I have that drive to bury 28, 29, and 30's all day long.

So before you accuse anyone of "cheating", be sure and do a little research BEFORE you throw out that type of accusation in a public forum. Also, be a little clearer in the nature of what kind of cheating.

One things for sure, the 8 iron is as accurate as a hockey stick on O.C. Some one please tell me how a 150 iron (8i) with full back spin in 12 mph headwind and 6ft up go 150 yards.  Every single time i'm on a hot round (-8 for front) a shot like this happens on the back, then the putt i had which i hit with 15ft scale seemed to be hit with the 50ft scale and rolled 15 foot past!  Off to re-buy the burners to see if they are better.

What i've noticed in trying to get lower than my 57 at O.C is that no 2 shots give you the same outcome.  There's no point in trying to memorise what shot you played last time because next time it will be totally different any way.

And most importantly, there seems to be ZERO forgiveness playing the qualifier, miss ding and its pot luck where you land

I believe you have nailed it.

I think many feel if they hit the ding 3 times on a par 4, it should be a birdie.

Ding an approach, it should be 3 feet from the hole.

Ding a putt, it should go in.

There's more to it than that.
