With more and more players at level 90+ WGT are starting to lose out on purchases, other than balls, so I think it is inevitable that they will introduce better high level clubs (possibly lvl 95), after all they still have wiggle room on precision and forgiveness stats.

Maybe if they add more tiers past legend, like tour legend, then maybe something like I don't even know, but could be nice or maybe they can move the clubs down a little on levels when adding higher clubs. Like taking the r11's from level 90+ set down to lets say 80+ as so forth for other lower clubs down a bit, and add higher clubs.

The thing is it would not work because it makes it easier for lower tiers to play better. They would still have to add more tiers for higher clubs. I just can't think of any higher than a legend. I know it could go after legend as tour legend and then ultimate legend, and see if anyone could get that high. The downside of it would probably be going back to champion greens for those.

Even could go tour legend and best of legends for the top.

    LeonDelBosque:

Someone just shot a 49, the leading score on Day 1 -- Day 1 -- of the Open qualifier is 53.... from the back tees on a new course ... and you want to make it easier?

My God, Leon, you are back at it with this "too easy" argument, taking as a sole example the exceptional wizardry of the best player in wgt!  What about the vast majority of players who still struggle to score in the mid to low 60's on 18 holes with the current top gear?

As I keep saying, put the sub-60 average legends in an upper legend tier, called champion, with farther and harder hole locations, and championship greens, and the game will present a bigger challenge to those who now post unbelievably low scores.

It isn't a given that the game gets easier with clubs such as Buggy suggests. His comment about making the woods more realistic and having the option to lay up on certain holes like the pros do is an example. Just because your 3W goes 260 doesn't mean you're going to now be firing darts from 260 out.

I agree with Buggyyy here completely,  however, this would be an excellent time to make some "Legend-only-equipment" since all of the other tiers already have it this way with the current equipment and their tee-to-green  distances.

    My 2 credits ;-)

Thanks guys for the support. The R11s are amazing clubs. They don't make you an amazing player though. I don't see the problem with a little more length in the clubs. I guarantee you the Pros use their 3 wood more then they use there driver. With the new technology and konger players, hitting driver isn't always needed. Players on WGT may learn to lay up more and not try to be so aggressive on shots that aren't sensible.

Bigtime second on that. I would even expect a faster meter and minimum forgiveness. Coupled with the earlier suggestion of Championship greens you would have some really tough golf.

If the clubs get longer then the only way to go is to make them less forgiving. Then the lay up with a 3wood would come in to play a lot more. There's got to be more of risk/reward factored in to the game. If we had drivers that stated 300yds of distance that went 15/20yds off line on a missed ding then it would make the game more interesting for sure.
