    Sorry to hear it webber.

Make sure your FLASH version is up to date and be sure to clear your browser History, Cookies & Caches every time you enter WGT

My play know on my profile page disappears at will and don't come back unless i reload fifty times ads pop up when you get booted from a game  and then gone can't get back to the game  and if your in a guild you have to go back through and concede hole by hole till you get back to where you was if you got time if not then you go post ffs   why cant you fix the ads is it really that hard to put them in one spot never had these glitchs untill all these ads started  is it a golf game or a ad board ffs  WGT  you need to fix this.and if your in a skins match and your up 6 skins and you get booted your money and your skins are gone ffs this happen the other day and the m8 i was playing with call me on skype and gifted me ball for the money i lost really. how about you guys pay up or better than that. FIX IT!!

Its clearing the cache that causes this.  Every time i clear cache, next day i will get logged out up to 3 times during games and will get a message "you have been successfully logged out" even though i didn't want to.  On many occasions its cost me credits in a challenge match.

Also, you don't really need to clear cookies as well, just cache.  And clear flash cache manually too from the settings screen in game browser. (delete other sites except WGT)

I only clear cache a couple of times a week now and i dont get logged out, until day after i do clear cache, then it settles down again- untill next clear cache!

The things farcical, they want you to clear cache to stop meter jumping, yet clearing cache upsets the system and gets you logged out all the time.

I'll disagree with you, i dont get logged out i clear browser cache and flash case with one button in Google Chrome (which is the recommended browser for WGT)

Absolutely you do. Each time you load WGT with stale cookies WGT reads those cookies before it offers you a page. Get a fresh version of WGT everytime you visit.

Chris means right clicking and going to the FLASH options of Global Settings.

Again.. use google chrome and one click includes a flush of those settings too.

Do you leave the PC on 24/7?
How many programs are starting with windows?
    What browser do you use?
Have your video drivers been updated? is it shared video?
    Win XP or 7?
    How much memory is installed?

All these questions plus MORE, are needed in YOUR case..

No, one simple answer, clearing cache causes me to get logged out constant the following time i log on, when i don't clear cache I DONT GET LOGGED OUT!

That's just like saying "my meter is perfectly smooth all the time, so all you people with a skippy meter are dreaming""

Mine is smooth 80% of the time, i very rarely get logged out.  If my meer skips I know what to do to rectify it. It isnt a WGT issue its an issue at MY end.

Same as getting logged out. Internet contention, Acks, and all the above i mentioned.

If you keep looking in the same place your bound to find the same thing.

I would like to take the heat off of wgt for a moment.I as well as others have paid good money for a comp that you have  to go thru the above for mentioned apparatti.Don.t know about anyone else but it means to me that computers are not up to par to play par.None of them are. not mine or wgts or my server. If we gotta go thru all this crap to play a decent game it can only mean one thing. We need programmers who know what their doing instead of us doing it for them.Comps are supposed to be a sign of intelligence and with someone of my intelligence has to do it somethings wrong.I will start my boycott of hp today. Please write your congressmen and voice your frustrations.

Of course your going to find the same thing if that THING is the cause of the problem.  As i said, i can go a week without clearing cache, nice smooth meter and no log outs.  As soon as i clear cache, i get logged out a few times then it settles down again.  I wont get logged out again until next time i clear cache.  So i know what the problem is and just have to live with it.

And meter skips aren't at our end, its servers, internet connections and other junk like adverts or a friend invite that causes the skips, not our cpu.  Proof of that is i have a 1 gig of ram cpu, windows xp NO GRAPHICS CARD, dual core and meter is smooth just the same as my top spec i5, 4 gig ram, 1 gig graphics card cpu.  I have exactly the same outcome on both cpu's, the only difference is faster loading on the top spec cpu, but only a few secs though.  Yes, some people might have conflicting programs, like trying to play whilst their anti-virus is scaning and that causes crap meter, but all in all its server issue, or heavy internet and there's not much we can do about it.  I notice when i log on in the morning my meter is smooth, but the more i go on into afternoon, the meter starts to get choppy now and again, thats probably down to more people logging on, using cpu and also this site, even local school kids wh have rushed home to use facebook, but there's nothing we can do about it.  Heck, even the creator of WGT, Chad had a meter skip when demonstrating the game in a video, even with starter clubs as well!  So if Mr. WGT is experiencing skips aswell, says it all.

I have a HP Laptop I play on wireless with a wireless mouse. It's not my main rig, but plays this game just fine. And I can skype on it at the same time.

    Not the PC's fault.

Try comodo dragon browser, and use it just for this game. Then the last thing you do before you shut down, is clear the cache's and browsing data. When you start again. it's all fresh and ready to go. Take's 20sec.

This usually will fix 85% of peoples problem's.

    Try it. .......
