No real-life pro tournament has ever had a cutoff 10 or 11 strokes under par. When Appleby shot a 59 at the Greenbriar Classic it made history and I believe won him a large cash award (or a flashy new car). While there may be a few hundred super hot shot golfers who can score between 56-60 on even the most difficult course at WGT, for most of the thousands of WGT players this is an impossibility. There are plenty of good players who can shoot par and subpar games but who don't have "crouching tiger" reflexes, a sixth sense of how many yards a ball needs to go to land two feet from the pin, or the ability to consistently sink 30 foot puts! There should be a "second tier" US Open for that large segment of capable but not "super" players.

It's a virtual golf game,so it's a lot easier than real golf. Having said that a tiered open would be cool.

Totally agree.  I've caught flack over but I'll say it again. Because of all the variables involved, there is now way players can shoot those low scores without some type of assistance.

I have asked a couple of these low shooters to show their cards and do a live webcam of them playing so we can see them shooting these amazing rounds and prove that is skill alone that they are relying on.

Guess what?  No one has accepted my request yet.

Many low scores have been scored on a live stream, or recorded and uploaded (I've got a number of them on youtube).   2ndly with your clubs nobody would be posting ridiculously low scores.  You have no idea how much easier it is to score with top level equipment.

I iced my finger after a 65 this morning.

    Smoked two Marlboros.

Cracked a beer on 15 after missing a 6.5 foot birdie putt (but didn't drink the beer, just needed the assistance it gave me in knowing I could drink it I want to).

I have to disagree with that statement, I have no idea what it is but, ( not bragging, but I can ding about 80% of the time  On a good day) I have the best clubs, the best balls, would be willing to bet my clubs are calibrated the same as yours or very close and I can't get close to qualifying in the open.

Now I am not saying anyone is using help, I know they are not, just to name a few, Yourself (BB) Fabian ( Genorb), and Kriztjan It just may be fate, or the play of the game, I have even tried changing back to the Calaway ball, still not close. Getting tired of restarting.........lol

I have the same equipment...it dose not seem to help in the qualifying. Every round seems very weird to me. Clubs not going as far as they should or way to far.   Can't seem to judge any breaks consistently...seems like they change everytime I play. Whole lot of VEM. So the question is...how the hell does someone score a 53 with all this VEM I am hearing from this course...lol
