  When I join a game I know exactly the required time to take a shot, so why is it opponents and partners still go over the time limit?

  Wgt, cant you change it so that if anyone goes over the time limit they lose a shot, hole or self destruct in some way?

  Depending on the game...

  As I understand it , the first time out is a warning..

  2nd time out:

  • Blitz - 300 point penalty  
  • stroke/ Alt - 1 shot penalty

  3rd time out :

  • Blitz - 3000 points
  • Stroke/ Alt - 2 stroke penalty 

  4th time out

  • Disqualified all games

   

  ... something like that.

  • Stroke-based: Warning 

  2nd Timeout

  • Blitz: 300 points penalty 
  • Stroke-based: 1-stroke penalty 

  3rd Timeout 

  • Blitz: Automatic disqualification 
  • Stroke-based: Automatic disqualification

  There may be a "loss of hole" penalty in between in match play/AS.

     I think a 120 second timer would solve the problem.

  good luck getting me to play with you.  the 90 second timer bout drives me nuts. i think the reason they give ya one warning is cuz they know how frequently the game freezes, and if your screen is froze and the timer keeps running, not much ya can do about it.  happened to me today

  90 is the perfect time to have someone take their turn. It's usually about the same time the Pros take if not more. If you can't be patient, then multiplayer may not be for you.
