  Couldn't agree more Karl, twas a battle indeed! I thought I had it on 18 with that approach to 2 ft, but karl held his nerve and squared the hole. I think I'd gotten a bit complacent and messed up my approach on the following extra hole. Karl still needed to hole a tricky putt and did it with aplomb.

  Well played mate, i needed a lie down after that one lol.

  Just completed my match with hpurey and I was very fortunate to win 1up.  I was lucky to catch him on his first shots of the day and got out 3up after 6, but he came storming back to even the match by the 12th.  The rest of the way it was back and forth and came down to the last shot.  Great player and great sportsman and very much enjoyed the game and I look forward to playing him again soon.

  Yea,  I thought it was over in the first couple of holes,  but never give up.  Was a great match,  I just didn't show up early enough.   

  After my start, I was just happy to see the 18th tee box lol.  GL the rest of the way.

  Clarkebosun (Bobby) and myself hooked up to play our game.....and what a game it was!

  Although I took an early lead, Bobby pegged me back and took the lead on 14, I squared it up until 18 and managed to squeak the win on the 1st extra hole. To say I needed to bring my "A" game was an understatement. One of the best quality matches I have had the pleasure of being involved in. And to share the round with an absolute gentleman and excellent player was a pleasure.

  no probs,  and thanks.  i knew playing so close to having to leave for work wouldn't help, but wanted to get the round in , since it was behind schedule.

  Just finished my match with "ibprime" and it wasn't pretty from either end.  We had been trying to match our schedule for days, but couldn't do it.  He was on his way out the door to go fishing and I just got back from a long bicycle ride and that added up to bad golf.

  After some back and forth the match went to the 18th where he barely missed a putt to take it to extra holes and I was extremely fortunate to move on.

  He was a pleasure to play with and a complete gentleman throughout and I look forward to playing him again sometime.

  Thanks for the tourney Rosey!  Already contacted BigChunky17 and we will get our finals match played within the next 48 hours.
