    hey all

Just made a big mistake and cleared all my history/cache and everything else that goes with that system.

    So what did that do?

Well it scrubbed all the info WGT had on my PC and now my meter is a kangaroo and can make amazing leaps, my own fault really and wish i hadnt done it as my PC was running WGT to a decent standard of playability.

so be carefull when clearing the info which is stored on your PC as now ill have to w8 till my PC settles down and becomes my friend again.

Also the load times from different camera views takes its time to load up which can be a tad annoying.

Just thought i would share this experience with you all.

    best rgards

Howdy,  when i was running firefox for wgt, i'd clear everything and experienced exactly what you described.  it certainly was a hassle waiting everything to re-cache, or whatever it does (obviously, i am not internet savvy nor technically inclined) trying to play a round here after clearing stuff.  I'm fairly certain, though, that there is a way on Firefox to clear the cache and not delete all the other stuff, but I'll leave that to the experts.

I now use Chrome.  And I clear the cache regularly.  works great.  No messy load times with the camera angles and whatnot.

I think, too, that there are other threads here that address this issue.

    Good luck.

I use palemoon ( firefox 64bit cousin) and clear cashe, flash and everything everytime I close the browser.   For me starting fresh each time is a smoother meter. Go figure.

The only reason to clear your cache is when odd stuff starts happening consistently, like load errors, after a big update or when you buy new clubs. It will take a few rounds around before it "settles down" but this is because WGT has to reload everything you deleted. I suspect you realize this now.

Allowing these new downloads to happens for a few seconds will improve your playability and eliminate that kangaroo. The slower than normal loads are a necessary evil until you get them all back.
